Nevertheless

All history turns on this one word, "Nevertheless", as the will of Jesus melts into the will of His Father. Human nature struggles but grace submits. To avoid the suffering before Him, Jesus, in His humanity, exhibits a perfect reluctance to do the Father's will. But, in His Deity, knowing He must die to give Himself for us, He freely submits himself to the Father's will for our salvation and redemption. This is grace.
