Beached Boat
Among the dune grasses and tidal pools, the sleeping boat rests along the ocean shore. Passing gulls keep it company, sensing its loneliness. The boat sleeps on, dreaming dreams of drifting on slopes of blue. I like the feeling of isolation... a remote stretch of beach, a solitary boat, and grasses blowing in the wind.
